Best Vi Prepaid Recharge Plans 2021

Vodafone Idea or now their partenering name Vi is going through lot of trouble after the entry of Jio in 2016. Both the company's were merged in 2020 to decrease losses and give better network coverage to their subscribers. But still everyone is complaining about their network coverage. Well, they have improved over time and now their plans and network coverage are too good. Recent data analysis of TRAI ( Telecome  Regulatory Authority of India ) shows that Vi has highest data download speed in whole India and strongest network in Gujarat state. What's more important is their recharge plans, yes there are many super interesting plans provided by Vi to get more subscribers. Their Binge All Night and Weekend Data Rollover plans are most popular due to the whooping amount of data they offer. Vi's plans are 50 Rupees costlier than Jio as you know in December 2019 both Airtel and Vi increased their plans and then Jio launched same plans at 50 Rs. lesser after seeing both telcos plans. Let's see some of the bestselling prepaid recharge plans of Vi or say Vodafone Idea. 

1GB/day Packs 

Rs. 219 Plan (28 days) - This plan gives 1GB data per day for a validity period of 28 days. It also includes truly unlimited local and national calls and 100 SMS/day. So, you will  get 1GB/Day + Unlimited Calls + 100 SMS/Day valid for 28 Days and enjoy Night data without limits from 12am to 6am! Also you can carry Mon to Fri's unused data into Sat-Sun. Additional benefits includes Vi Movies & TV Application Classic  access. There are some offers available in recharge through My Vi App. You will get Rs. 20 Off coupon and additional data as per your account. This year Vi has introduced too much data to users. It's like unlimited, when you are using in night, with the Binge All Night benefit. You can download your Movies and TV shows in night for your binge watch. They have introduced these good data plans, but still they are loosing around 4 Million subscribers every month. 

Rs. 199 Plan (24 days) - As from title above, this plan also gives 1GB data every day for a validation period of 24 days. Unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for local and national usage are also available in this plan. This plan's features are similar to Jio's Rs. 149 plan. As I told earlier, that after launching of Vi's plans, Jio launched same features plans at lesser price in December 2019. Additional benefits in this plan are of Vi Movies and TV app's basic access. Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night is not available in this plan. It seems in all plans below 200 Rupees, Vi had cut some features like Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night to attract users towards higher price plans above 200 Rs. 

Rs. 148 Plan  (18 days) - This plan includes 1GB data per day, calls are unlimited for local and national usage along with 100 SMS per day for a validity period of 18 days. This plan is under 200, so in this plan subscribers will not get Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night options to get more data. The additional benefit offered in this plan is of Vi Movies and TV app's basic access (not classic). This plan is not more preferred by the customers due to lower validity period and the benefits it gives compared to other good plans of Vi. 

 1.5GB/day Packs 

Rs. 249 Plan (28 days) - This is one of the most customer centric plan given by every telecom operators. Plan includes 1.5GB/day + Unlimited Calls + 100 SMS/day. As always SMS and calls are for local and national usage. For International usage you have to recharge with ISD plans.  The additional benefits are Vi Movies and TV app's classic access, Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night features to give customers more data. There are many offers running on  My Vi app (available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store) in which customers can get discount coupons up to 60 off on your next recharge with some terms and conditions. In this plan you will get Rs. 20 off for your next recharge. 

Rs. 399 Plan (56 days) - For a validity period of 56 days, customers will get 1.5GB/day internet data, unlimited local and national usage calls along with 100 SMS/day that also for local and national usage. Additional benefits includes Vi Movies and TV app's classic access, Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night benefit.  There are some offers on My Vi app, when customers recharge from app, they will get Rs. 40 Off discount coupon for next recharge plan with terms and conditions. Also you will get additional internet data of 5GB for 28 days. In Vi there is no tension of getting out of internet data. You will always get internet data like unlimited, if you have a good coverage of Vi in your area. 

Rs. 599 Plan (84 days) -  This plan is also the bestselling prepaid recharge plan of Vodafone Idea. It directly competes with Reliance Jio's plan of Rs. 555 with the same benefits given by Vi or Airtel. In this plan subscribers will get unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for local and national usage. 1.5GB/Day internet data for a validation period of 84 days. Additional benefits includes Vi Movies and TV app's classic access, Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night. The My Vi App recharge coupon given in this plan is of Rs. 60 Off for the next recharge done with My Vi App above 500 with terms and conditions included in this offers. You will get extra 10GB internet data for One month from recharge. You are rest assured from Vi that you would not get out of data anytime, if you use Vi sim card. 

2GB/Day Packs 

Rs. 595 Plan ( ZEE5 ) - This plan gives 2GB internet data every day for a validation period of 56 days, which means a total of 112GB internet data. The other features in the plan are unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for local and national usage. Additional benefits includes Vi Movies and TV app's classic access, Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night. This pack also gives you One year ZEE5 PREMIUM. ZEE5 is an official app from Zee studios in which you will get webseries and movies along with the TV serials and Shows running on the Zee channels. It will be activated on the Vi mobile number that you recharge. This is a good pack if you love watching ZEE5 shows, you will get very good data and just one time payment from Vi which gives 1 year subscription of ZEE5. 

Rs. 795 Plan  (Zee 5) - In this plan too you will get 1 year premium access of Zee 5 App. This plan includes 2GB per day internet data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day for a validity period of 84 days. Additional benefits includes Vi Movies and TV app's classic access, Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night benefit. You will get some additional cashbacks coupon or internet data around 10GB if you recharge via My Vi App. Yhat app is not preferred by subscribers cause it's too much faulty. Zee 5 Premium access is the main thing which can get more subscribers for Vi. There is no other main reason to buy this plan as you can also get Hotstar VIP subscription from Vi which is more loved by Indians.

Other Notable Packs 

Rs. 79 Plan - Recently in starting of August month both Vi and Airtel increased their basic card activation plans. Earlier everyone was familiar with the 49 Plan in which you would get 100 MB data and 38 Rupees talktime, but now that plan is removed and the new plan is of Rupees 79 in which you will get Rs 64 Limited Validity Talktime, Local/National Calls at 1p/sec and 200 MB Data. No Outgoing SMS. Pack Valid for 28 Days. (If customer has recharged with minimum denomination of Rs 128 or more in last 28 days , then TT can be used for Voice , SMS , VAS & Data else TT can be used for Voice , VAS & Data only). Now you would not get any outgoing SMS if you haven't recharged with any plan above Rupees 128 before 28 days. 

Rs.401 Plan - This is Hotstar VIP plan which was first introduced by Reliance Jio and then both Airtel and Vi followed with exact plan features of Jio's. In this plan subscribers will get 3GB per day internet data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day for 28 days validity. The Vi mobile number that you will recharge through this plan will get 1 year Hotstar VIP access on that mobile number. Hotstar VIP is mostly loved due to IPL live broadcast it offers in the Hotstar App. This is lowest among all Hotstar VIP plans offered by all telecom operators. You only need to recharge once with this plan and your Hotstar VIP will be activated. You don't need to recharge again with the same plan,  you can also recharge with the lower price plans of Rs. 199.

Rs. 449 Plan - This plan gives 4GB internet data per day for a validity period of 56 days. Also you will get unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for local and national usage. Additional benefits is also given by Vi, in which you will get 1 year Zee5 premium access. This plan is very good if you love Binge watching movies. As there is 4GB data per day which is more than enough for your daily movies routine. Also you will get Weekend Data Rollover and Binge All Night benefit which is very helpful if you missed using your daily 4GB internet data. Vi has introduced this plan as double data plan, as you will get daily 2GB extra data along with daily 2GB internet data.
