Google Assistant and Cool commands

Technology has made so much changes to the humans society that without the technological gadgets we can not be able to live for one day. There are many smartphone addicted people who cannot live without it just for one day. Technology is now an important part of human life. There are many technology  gadgets that we use in our day to day life and of course didn't thanks them for being helpful. Smartphone, TWS, Smart watch, Electric Motors, equipments and many much more. There is one important tool of technology which is very helpful to everyone. That is Google Assistant. Google has introduced many important technological innovation which are being used worldwide. Google Search Engine is the best example of that. Google Assistant is also based on that search engine.

What is Google Assistant ?

It is a Virtual Voice Assistant or say a helper which do some task on our voice commands. It works with Voice entry (controlling smart home devices and etc) or text entry ( in Smartphones ). It is an AI Robot tool which is like our Personal Assistant. It can remember our personal information  (like interest, accessing calender, contacts, music ,location,etc). You have to say "Hey Google" or "Ok Google" to wake the Assistant. It was launched  in  Google developer conference of 2016. It can do many things among which I have written several of them as follows

---   call your contacts

---   wake you up with your alarm 

---   help you navigate while driving

---   play music 

---   open your smartphone apps & read your messages.

---   can translate in many languages in real-time 

---   control your smart home devices.

 These are some of the tasks that it can help you out.           

Google Assistant in Devices

It is available now in many devices. Most importantly in Android smartphones, it is in-built. It is also available in iPhones and Samsung's Bixby but with some restrictions. Google Assistant is available to all android supporting devices including Pixel smartphones,  Android TVs and Google TVs, WearOS device like smart watch and band, Nvidia Shield and Android Auto supported cars. It is best known for Google Nest smart speakers which are important for controlling Smart home devices. It is also available in Nest cameras, Headphones and earbuds, Lenovo Smart Display. In 2021 it is available to many printers, fridges, light bulbs, fans, washing machines and many electronic devices to get a better controlled smart home experience. Google Nest will work as your P.A. which will listen all your commands and orders the other devices to work accordingly.

  Some best Google Assistant Actions or Commands 

As you already know Google Assistant can do million tasks right away, but there are many daily routine tasks which are mainly used by people. These tasks differ from device to device as Google Assistant works differently for smartphones, smart speakers and many smart home devices. You can control these device and Google Assistant via the Google Home App. For smartphone you can set it up via the Google app or opening the Assistant app from Google play store and follow the instructions.

1- Call, Message Your contacts

 Just by saying "Hey Google, Call Siri" your Assistant can call Siri ( from your contact) or even text your message. It can also text your message in whatsapp messenger, Telegram Messenger, Facebook Messenger, Viber, Google messages app. This feature is available to smartphones but when connected to Google Nest it can operate to your every device. It can do any task in your phone or tablet while your relax on sofa and command to Google Assistant. There is a Call Screen feature for Pixel devices to block telemarketing or spam calls and messages. It talks on your behalf to these calls and read the message in real-time.

2- Get ETA, Find your Phone

There are many locations based task which Google Assistant can do. If you are outside of your home you can ask Google Assistant from your car "Hey Google,Get me home". It will find the directions and ETA from the Google maps app and helps you drive safely while talking to it. It can also send your location to your relatives via Text,email, whatsapp or anything you command. Google Nest device can find your phone by calling it even when it is in silent or vibration mode. Google Assistant can  also suggest you the best nearby restaurants and hotels, vacation spots or an ATM nearer to you.

3- Translate languages in real-time 

  

Google Assistant can translate many languages via the Interpreter mode. When you say "Hey Google, Be My Hindi Interpreter". It will give  translation of any Hindi sentences spoken by your Hindi friends or customers. This mode is very very helpful  for businesses having multi-language customers coming everyday. It can speak and write the customer's spoken language's words to your own desired language in real-time. This is the Interpreter mode features, but you also know that it can translate any word you ask to it. By saying "Hey Google, what is the meaning of life" it will read the entire meaning of the main featured snippets of the Google Search. As this product is from Google it is very well with the Google Search Engine tasks. You can find any things on Google by asking it to Google Assistant.

4- Listen News or have your pages read aloud 

Yes, Google Assistant can read the latest news from any supported website or app. It can read the main headlines of the featured news article channels. The other feature is having your chrome pages read aloud. When you are reading a long article like this one, you can ask your Assistant to read aloud the whole article. It reads the articles very well almost in all supported languages mainly in language. It can also translate the page you are reading and speak that.

5- Get scores, Whether updates

     

This is the most basic and tiny useful action that we love. Sports fan can ask "Hey Google, Who won the IPL 2018" it can tell you that Chennai Super Kings was the 2018 IPL winner with the scores of that match including man of the match and match summary. Whether forecasting is also necessary when planning a picnic or going outside without umbrella. You can ask Assistant for your location's whether or any other location's whether updates. Google Assistant is also helpful in many tasks.

There are many commands along with these given above. You can play music from your device or any apps, you can search any images,identity things with help of came,  which is now Google lens. You can ask your homework questions of history or sports which google will reply very quickly. You can talk with Google Assistant in any preferred language of your choice. Change the language of the Google Assistant.
