Pocophone F1 or Poco F1 was a great success from the house of Xiaomi Sub-brand Poco when company announced it's separation from Xiaomi. It was launched against the then launched OnePlus 6 to create a rivalry in 2018. After that success Poco fans are asking from last two years when the Poco F2 will launch. Well, Poco F2 was never launched in India but the Poco F3 GT which is a rebranded phone of Redmi K40 Gaming Edition was launched on 23rd July 2021. This time again, it is rival of OnePlus Nord 2. Poco F3 GT is meant for gamers and movie content lovers. It is a power-packed smartphone with lot of small but important gaming features to enhance the game of users. There are two gaming triggers on the side panel of the Poco F3 GT to improve four finger gaming. Let's see what good specifications Poco F3 GT offers and at what price.

Performance Specs
Poco F3 GT is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset which is flagship processor from Mediatek. It's CPU specs are Octa core (3 GHz, Single core, Cortex A78 + 2.6 GHz, Tri core, Cortex A78 + 2 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A55) and it's GPU is based on Mali G77 MC9 (upto 886MHz). The processor is built on 6nm chip fabrication process and 64 bit architecture both gives good performance to the processor and hence to the device. Poco F3 GT is available in 6 or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. AnTuTu and Geekbench scores of Dimensity 1200 are very near to the Snapdragon 870 processor of Qualcomm which are best optimised for gaming around 30K phones like Mi 11X and iQOO 7.
Display and Design
The device has 6.67 (16.94 cm) inches full HD Turbo Amoled display. It is HDR 10+ certified display with 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, aspect ratio of 20:9, Pixel Density 395 ppi, screen to body ratio is around 87%. It is a Bezel-less display with single punch-hole type camera in the centre of screen protected by the Gorilla glass 5 on front and back. It's Design specs includes Height (161.9 mm), Width (76.9 mm), Thickness (8.3 mm). It's weight is 205 grams and it is Dust and Splash proof with IP53 rating. It is available in two colours Gunmetal Silver, Predator Black. Poco F3 GT has bigger screen and a matte glass back design which doesn't look very attractive like some Oppo and Vivo phones. It's design is gaming centric, with RGB lights and flash near camera. Gaming triggers located at the right side-panel for two game functions.

Poco F3 GT has triple rear camera setup with 64MP primary shooter with an aperture of f/1.65 and a sensor from named OmniVISION OV64B . The other two are 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide and 2MP (f/2.4) Macro lens. It has a dual LED Flash, Image Resolution of 9000 x 7000 Pixels. The Camera Features are Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Touch to focus, Autofocus. The videography features includes Continuos Shooting, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Dual View video, Vlog mode and many more supporting 4K (3840x2160) @ 30 fps and 2K (1920x1080) @ 60 fps. Obviously Poco F3 GT is a 5G smartphone but wait it has just 2 5G bands in the name of 5G which are n77, n78. It's dual nano sim cards supports 4G carrier aggregation, dual VoLTE and 4G, 3G and 2G network. Wifi bands are Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/ax/b/g/n/n, 2.4GHz/5GHz, MIMO×2(WiFi 6, WiFi 5). OS and General Specs
Poco F3 GT comes with the latest from Xiaomi, MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. There are rumours about this version of MIUI having good improvements over the bugs and stutters, of the famous MIUI 12. Yes, there can be bloatware and some ads or annoying notifications from Xiaomi's Get Apps and Themes. As the Poco F3 GT is aimed at gamers, they have introduced Gaming triggers in the mid-range market. As for the Multimedia it has stereo speakers, Hi-Res certified Dolby Atmos audio and doesn't have 3.5 mm audio jack ( USB Type-C ). Sensors include Side mounted fingerprint sensor, Face recognition, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Vibration Motors, IR Blaster and DC Dimming.
Overview
Poco F3 GT is priced pretty aggressively. The base variant's price is 27K. At this price range every devices are better, it is the customer's use scenario which decides which phone they should buy. If they love movies they go for better display , for gaming they go for chipset, display, speakers and some smll things like audio jack if they want ( which is available in Realme X7 Max, not in Poco F3 GT or OnePlus Nord 2 ) and for smooth and neat daily performance they can go for OnePlus Nord 2. There are many good competitive smartphones around 30K like Mi 11X, IQOO 7, OnePlus Nord 2 and now the Realme X7 Max is at 25K. All those phones have some ups and downs ( Pros - Cons ). Poco F3 GT is available in FLIPKART right now and will be available later in Xiaomi retail stores.
