Best Jio Prepaid Recharge Plans 2021

Since launching of Jio in 2016 telecom industry has revolutionised every other industries too. Firstly Jio was free to use and after a year they launched some affordable recharges plans in 2017. They were the best recharge plans from Jio compared to every other operators back then. Again in 2019, Jio raised the recharge plans price upto 150 Rupees. They also launched the IUC packs and calling limit but in 2021 they removed it. In 2021 prepaid plans mostly offers unlimited calling, there are some other plans too. This is a list of Best Jio prepaid recharge plans among them.


Jio 1.5GB/day Packs


Rs.199 plan  (28 days) - This is the most popular plan of Jio prepaid. In this plan users get a total of 42GB data, 1.5GB per day. The validity of this plan is of 28 days. Unlimited calling (local/ national), 100 SMS (local/national) per day and a complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio security is always available in every unlimited plan of Jio prepaid. There are many other apps like My jio and Jio games to get account access and play games. 

Rs. 98 plan (14 days) --  This plan is also of 1.5GB data per day but for a short time of 14 days. It includes unlimited calling (local/national), 1.5GB data per day for a validation period of 14 days. This plan does not give any Text Message subscription. This plan also gives the complimentary subscription of Jio apps which are Jio TV,  Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News and Jio Security.

Rs. 399 plan (56 days) -- For a validity period of 56 days this prepaid plan gives you 1.5GB Internet data , Unlimited calling ( local and National calls ), 100 SMS (local / National ) per day and a complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News and Jio Security. The total data of this plan is 84 GB.

Rs. 555 plan ( 84 days ) -- This is also one of the bestselling prepaid recharge plan of Reliance Jio. This plan gives 1.5GB Internet data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day for a validation period of 84 days. It also includes a complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News and Jio security. This plan is cheaper as compared to other plans of 1.5GB data per day as this comes under Rs.555 instead of Rs. 599. Most users choose this plan for their  Jio recharge. This plan gives total data of 126 GB and local/national calling and messaging.

Jio 2GB/day Packs 

Rs. 249 Plan (28 days) - In this plan subscribers will get 2GB of internet data per day (total 56 GB), Unlimited local/national calls, 100 SMS per day  (local/national ) for a validity period of 28 days. The other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security. For some binge watching mobile data users, this is a good cheap data plan.

Rs. 444 plan (56 days) - In this plan subscribers will get 2GB of internet data per day (total 112 GB) , Unlimited (local/national) calls, 100 SMS per day ( local/national ) for a validity period of 56 days. The other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security. 

Rs. 599 Plan (84 days) - In this plan subscribers will get 2 GB of internet data per day (total 168 GB) , Unlimited ( local/national ) calls, 100 SMS per day  ( local/national ) for a validity period of 84 days. The other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security. This plan as compared to the basic plan of 249, is cheaper for around 50 Rupees. 

3 GB/day Packs

Rs. 349 plan (28 days) - In this plan subscribers will get 3GB of internet data per day(total 84 GB) , Unlimited (local/national) calls, 100 SMS per day ( local/national ) for a validity period of 28 days. The other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security.

Rs. 999 plan (84 days) - In this plan subscribers will get 3GB of internet data per day ( total 252GB) , Unlimited (local/national) calls, 100 SMS per day ( local/national ) for a validity period of 56 days. The other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security.

Rs. 401 plan (28 days) Hotstar VIP -
In this plan subscribers will get 3GB of internet data per day, Unlimited (local/national) calls, 100 SMS per day ( local/national ) for a validity period of 28 days. This is special Hotstar VIP subscription plan which gives 1 year Hotstar VIP access to those who recharge with this plan. Other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security.

Other Super Value plans

Rs. 149 plan (28 days) - In this plan subscribers will get 1GB of internet data per day, Unlimited (local/national) calls, 100 SMS per day  ( local/national ) for a validity period of 28 days. The other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security. This is for 1GB/day mobile data users, which are not using more data.

Rs. 2399 plan ( 365 days ) - This is a super value plan from Jio for 365 days oc usage means a year. In this plan subscribers will get 2GB of internet data per day, Unlimited (local/national) calls, 100 SMS per day ( local/national ) for a validity period of 365 days. The other benefits includes complimentary subscription of Jio apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Cloud, Jio News, Jio Security.

Jio Freedom plans - These plans are launched last month by Jio but they are not good value of money plans. They are free to use data plans without any daily data limit but their pricing is higher. I have shared the screenshot of those plans below.


These are some of the bestselling prepaid recharge plans from Jio for Smartphones. There are many other top up plans and basic plans but they are not so much known to subscribers and also not liked by anyone too. There are other Hotstar VIP plans too, but the above mentioned plan is cheaper. You can recharge with that plan for one-time Hotstar VIP subscription of one year. There are many recharge options available today both offline and online. You can recharge online via your smartphone from any BHIM UPI apps.
